IFS Food is a food safety standard recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) to audit companies that manufacture food or companies that package food products in bulk. It focuses on the safety and food quality of processed products. This standard supports the production and marketing efforts with respect to brand safety and quality. IFS Food has been developed with the full and active participation of certification bodies, retail trade, food industry and companies in the service sector.

The European Union organic farming certification offers consumers food quality and environmental protection, raw material supply, processing, storage, transportation and distribution. The Organic Agriculture Committee of the Valencian Community (CAECV) is the Control Authority in charge of certifying organic agri-food products of plant or animal origin, processed or not, in the Valencian Community. The CAECV is accredited by the National Accreditation Entity (ENAC) for compliance with the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17065 standard, which has recognised the technical competence of the Committee for the certification of organic production since 2012.
