IFS Food is a food safety standard recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) for auditing companies that manufacture food or companies that package bulk food products. It focuses on the food safety and quality of processed products. The standard is compatible with production and marketing efforts for brand safety and quality. IFS Food has been developed with the full and active participation of certification bodies, retailers, the food industry and service sector companies.
KOSHER certification is a food quality control system. A team of experts ensures that Kosher products meet the highest quality standards, as well as FDA, HAACP, GMP and OU guidelines. Kosher products are closely linked to higher quality products due to the high standards and controls required for this certification.
The European Union’s organic farming certification offers consumers food quality and environmental protection, raw material supply, processing, storage, transport and distribution. The Valencian Community Organic Farming Committee (CAECV) is the Control Authority responsible for certifying organic agri-food products of plant or animal origin, whether processed or unprocessed, in the Valencian Community. The CAECV is accredited by the National Accreditation Entity (ENAC) for compliance with the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17065 standard, which recognises the Committee’s technical competence for the certification of organic production since 2012.
